So I'm on my lunch break lissenin to drake mixtape right now and I see why he's buildin a buzz, dude is dope. I just can't overlook the blatant Wayne clone-ness of his whole style. Granted, he does it way better than Wayne but damn someone needa be original wit they flow out here. Am I the only nigga still listen to lyrics from an intelligent perspective? Seem to me like niggas bars now a days is so fuckin watered down an lazy as shit u hear more beat than bar. Drake's word play is dope but it's the same simple ass flow Wayne n half these south niggas be using, what the fuck? Are producers chargin by the word for their beats? Or are mufuccas really content wit a 35 word 16? Real talk I need to figure out this formula, im tryina wait till real rap come back but a nigga broke LOL any ideas?

On another note, why the fuck is everything so damn complicated in life? Only thing come easy is this rap shit and the human aspect of it is still fucked up!

Howhood + Skep = whooooooooo!

So ya boy was out on the east coast last week made a couple lil moves on my mini vaca. I went to philly to visit family then the bul Kove scooped me and we went to DC to link up wit Dj GetEmKid and HowHood University down at the real HU. You can imagine how that would make for a studio session of epic proportions. I did a joint wit Lucky Seven and SD on a MattCody exclusive called jetlag (link below). Be on the lookout for the joint "Goodnight" featuring Drew Poz, shit is crazy and mr cody spazzed again. In other news, i got a session on wednesday, pray for the whack niggas.

Your Time is up

As some of you know and as many of you don't I have opted out of my "contract" with Times Up Productions due to conflicts of interest. The reasoning behind it is much more complicated than is necessary to share so I'll keep it brief: Niggas is fake. You see I've built the foundation for my career based on the understanding that I had a team behind me that would keep it real wit a nigga and contribute to the movement, and obviously that wasn't the case. I've put up with lies, dumb ass girlfriends, more lies, and other general stupid shit because I thought I was doing the right thing. Not the case. It sucks that it took me this long to be fed up but it feels good to move on.

With that being said, I got a new manager, a new outlook on the game, and a new gameplan for 2009. My long time graphic designer extraordinaire Kove has stepped up to manage the movement. So along with promotion he has been diligently working on a new webpage (www.DontBeASkeptik.com) and he will soon be contributing to this blog. He also came up wit a concept for a 3 part series entitled ADHD: Anger.Defeat.Honor.Deceit. that will include a mixtape, an EP, and a power hour compilation. For those of you that don't know what power hour is.....you better ask somebody.

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. I plan on updating regularly with new music, videos, artwork(Kove), and anything else I feel u need to know. In the mean time, Check out the site, download some free music, and keep your eyes on the clock....your time is up
